Dear Parents,

 

It’s hard to believe, but the new school year is upon us! I am excited to welcome your child to my classroom and look forward to a fantastic year together. I believe that by working collaboratively, we can ensure a successful and enriching experience for your child. Your active involvement in your child’s education is crucial to their success.

 

This year, we will use Math Nation, Eureka Math, and i-Ready to encourage students to apply various mental strategies for problem-solving. These methods focus on the process rather than just the final answer and are aligned with South Carolina College-and-Career Ready Standards.

 

Please feel free to contact me via phone, email, or visit me during my planning period or before and after school if you have any questions about your child’s progress. I will keep you informed through regular updates, including classwork, test results, projects, Mid-Quarter Progress Reports, and Report Cards at the end of each quarter.
