Bethanne Barner ML Instructional Coach
This is my fifth year at Royal Live Oaks Academy. I work at RLOACS as the an ML instructional coach as well as an ML Specialist. I will be working with the teachers and instructing students throughout the year to support our ML students K-12 best.
I have lived in SC for 19 years. I have 13 years of experience as an ESOL teacher working with grades K-5. I also have 9 years of experience as a SC state-trained ESOL Instructional Coach, working with ML and classroom teachers of grades K-12.
I am originally from Upstate NY. I have Bachelor's of Science degrees in Elementary Education and Math/Science/Technology Education from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY. I also have a Master's of Education Degree in Literacy & Curriculum and Instruction from Lesley University in Boston, MA.
I love working here at RLOACS! I also love being a mom. My son is 13 and my daughter is 11. He loves video games and football and she loves football and crafts. :-) We love snuggling our dogs, Luna and Judge. We just recently added our kitty, Baja, to the family. We also enjoy watching movies and going to the pool and the beach. I love to bake, sing, and read. If you read a good book, please let me know about it!
I am very excited to be a part of this wonderful staff and I look forward to an awesome year. See you in school!
